There are two main types of odds used for betting purposes on this site.

Fractional Odds:

This is the ratio of winnings to stake that you will receive if your selection is successful.

This can be clearly explained with the use of an example:
Paul = 1 to 6 (1/6) John = 8 to 1 (8/1)

In order to win €1 on Paul, you need to stake €6.
Thus, if Paul wins, your return would be €7 (the €6 you staked plus the €1 you won).

In order to win €8 on John, you need to stake €1.
Thus, if John wins your return would be €9 (the €1 you staked plus the €8 you won).

Multiplier/Decimals:

This type of odds is very easy to understand and use.

We can illustrate this with an example:
Manchester United =   2.20
Draw (Tie)=   1.90
Liverpool=   1.50

If you had placed a bet of €100 on Manchester United, and that team won, your total winnings including your stake would be €220 (the return is deduced by multiplying your stake with the odds listed).

If you had placed a bet of €100 on the Draw, and that was the result, your total winnings including your stake would be €190.

If you had placed a bet of €100 on Liverpool, and that team won, your total winnings including your stake would be €150.
